Bjørn Wiinblad Vase – Rosenthal “1001 Nights” – 10.5 cm
Decorative oval vase designed by the iconic Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad for Rosenthal. The vase belongs to the poetic and fairytale series 1001 Nights, inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights.
The series is characterized by Wiinblad's imaginative universe with romantic figures, ornaments, and fine graphic details. This vase features a beautiful cobalt blue motif with an elegant figure surrounded by decorative elements that continue around the vase in small ornamental details. The deep blue color against the white porcelain creates a classic and very decorative contrast.
The vase was produced at Rosenthal in the 1970s (approx. 1970–1980) and is a fine example of the collaboration between Danish artistic design and German porcelain craftsmanship. The oval shape gives it a special graphic expression, making the vase suitable for small flowers, a single stem, or as a decorative art object in your interior.
A charming vintage piece of design history that is also attractive to collectors of Bjørn Wiinblad.
