H.C. Rylander – “Eleonora and the Architecture” (1986-88) | Hand-coloured etching, signed
Original graphic art by Danish artist H.C. Rylander – an atmospheric and detailed hand-colored etching titled “Eleonora and Architecture”.
The work was created between 1986-1988 and bears the artist's pencil signature in the bottom right corner. The title is also handwritten at the bottom. The motif combines figurative narrative with architectural elements and an almost dreamlike composition, where strong hand-colored nuances in blue, red, yellow, and green bring the graphic etching to life.
The hand-coloring technique gives each print its own unique expression, with colors applied individually on top of the graphic print. The result is a work of great depth, character, and artistic energy.
The image is framed and ready for hanging. On the back, there is an older gallery label from Ove Olsen Hand-Colored Frames, Copenhagen, as well as a previous price tag dated May 29, 1989.
A distinctive artwork from Danish art of the late 1980s – ideal for collectors of Danish graphics or for a home where art with personality and history is appreciated.
