Majolica vase – Danish, approx. 1895 – relief with flowers and branches
Beautiful and decorative Danish Majolica vase from approx. 1895, crafted in classic majolica ceramic with richly modeled relief decoration.
The vase features a characteristic brown glaze with detailed flowers in reddish hues and green leaves, winding up the body in a natural branch motif. The two elegant handles are integrated into the decoration, giving the vase a harmonious and almost sculptural expression.
Majolica ceramics were very popular in the late 1800s, where the colorful glazes and natural motifs were inspired by the organic forms of the Art Nouveau period. This type of vase was often used as a decorative object in the home and is highly sought after today by collectors of European art ceramics.
The base is embossed with the number 4561, indicating the model number from production.
A beautiful antique vase with lots of character and history – perfect for both collectors and classic interiors.
