These types of wooden trays have roots in the French country kitchen, where they were used for preparation and serving. Over time, they have developed a natural patina, which today makes them particularly sought after.
In modern interiors, they are used as decorative objects, where their raw expression creates contrast and warmth in both Nordic and more rustic homes.
