Stig Weye – Draft Book for the Accounting of Conscience, 2017
Original work by Danish artist Stig Weye, executed in acrylic on canvas. Weye's artistic universe is characterized by a poetic and imaginative narrative style, where figures, architecture, and symbolism intertwine in small visual stories.
In this work, a series of characteristic figures are placed within architectural structures that almost resemble small stage sets. The motif balances humor, naiveté, and thoughtful symbolism – a universe that invites the viewer to interpret the narrative themselves.
The colors are clear and saturated, and the composition appears graphically strong and vibrant. The painting is framed in an elegant gold frame, which highlights the work's colors and gives it a classic and exclusive expression.
A distinctive artwork that serves both as a collector's item and as a striking artistic element in personal decor.
