Hand-painted Turkish Ceramic Vase with Lid – Gecikoglu | Vintage Oriental Ceramic
Beautiful and colourful hand-painted ceramic vase with a lid in classic Turkish style. The vase is richly decorated with flowers and ornaments in bright red, blue, purple, and green hues, giving it a vibrant and decorative expression.
The vase is made of hand-painted ceramic with a traditional Anatolian-inspired pattern, where detailed flowers entwine across the surface in a characteristic oriental design. The combination of strong colours and fine hand-painted details gives the vase an almost artistic expression.
Its elegant shape with a narrow neck and wide base makes the vase decorative both with and without flowers. The accompanying lid with a black knob completes the classic look and gives the vase a beautiful silhouette.
On the underside, the vase is signed “Hand Made Gecikoglu,” indicating handmade ceramics from Turkey. This type of pottery is often associated with traditions from the Iznik and Kütahya areas, where colourful hand-painted floral decorations are characteristic.
A decorative piece of handmade ceramics, functioning both as a vase and a colourful art object in the interior design.
