Portieux Vallerysthal Opaline Vase – Victorian Style, 24.5 cm
Elegant antique vase made of white opal glass from the French glassworks Portieux Vallerysthal. The vase is characterized by its slender neck and decorative, wavy rim, which gives it a classic and romantic expression inspired by the Victorian style of the late 1800s.
The spherical base is beautifully decorated with relief motifs of flowers and leaves, creating a beautiful contrast to the matte opal glass. Its tall, elegant form makes the vase particularly suitable for single flowers, branches, or as a decorative object in itself.
Portieux Vallerysthal was one of France's most significant glassworks in the 19th century and is known for its fine opal glass and artistic glass production. The vase stands as a beautiful example of the decorative glass production from that period.
